AIT President Dr. Eden Woon was awarded “Thailand Organization Driving the work of public toilet” (16th November 2020)

On the occasion of United Nations (UN) announce that 19 November of each year is "World Toilet Day". Thailand Ministry of Public Health by Department of Health on 16 November 2020 organized an event themed “The New Normal Public Toilet for All”.

Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) by Dr. Eden Woon, AIT President participated in the event and got a reward "The Organization for Driving the Thai Public Toilet" from Dr. Satit Pituthecha, Deputy Minister of Public Health at ICONSIAM Shopping Mall, Bangkok, Thailand.

In addition, NATS and NATS LAB, led by Prof. Thammarat Koottatep, participated in Booth exhibition in this event to promote laboratory services and innovative technologies for backwater treatment from toilets which were developed by NATS.
